The idea for touragedsp.com was born in 2024, after Sascha Eversmeier closed digitalfishphones.com, one of the longest-serving freeware websites for audio effect plugins, after more than two decades in order to make room for new ideas and to take developments to a new level.
Many of his other commercially successful works in this industry share the same hallmark: exceptional quality, intuitive workflow and impressive sonic results – even at extreme parameter settings. At touragedsp.com, everything revolves around 'tasty & artisan' plugin specialties, simply handcrafted treasures with that certain something.

What means tourage?

Pronounced French [tuʀaʒ], it's a word play on a musicians tour and the French word tourage.

Lovers of French croissants might know: the many layers of a puff pastry come from rolling out the dough and folding it over, and repeating this several times. It's the pastry way of making tours, and it is where the tasty magic happens.

With DSP (Digital Signal Processing) in our software, this translates to: algorithm design, workflow and processing must follow a sense of care, raw material quality and attention to details. Just as with pastry.

Why artisan?

We consider our software 'hand-made'. Our plug-ins have no AI tech under the hood. We strongly believe that tools supporting human creativity should only be made by humans. We test & tweak every single bit of sound-processing code until we are 100% sure it sounds and 'feels' right (and yes, that can take long...). We don't offer piles of training data but true audio expertise.
