The idea for touragedsp.com was born in 2024, after Sascha Eversmeier closed digitalfishphones.com, one of the longest-serving freeware websites for audio effect plugins, after more than two decades in order to make room for new ideas and to take developments to a new level.
Many of his other commercially successful works in this industry share the same hallmark: exceptional quality, intuitive workflow and impressive sonic results. Even at extreme parameter settings. What means tourage?

Pronounced the French way as [tuʀaʒ], the word is the perfect analogy of how we work, and why we do it.

In baking and pastry, for instance French croissants, tourage is the art of layering butter and dough to create something rich, airy, and full of texture and flavour.
